Since my last post so many months ago was David Wright themed I figured I would post three new heat transfer vinyl items I made for my daughter inspired by him.
First is Little Mrs. Wright
This t-shirt was inspired by the Little Miss books. I found a cutfile online of Little Miss Sunshine and edited her for my purposes. My daughter doesn't wear two ponytails, or part her bangs in the middle so I gave her one ponytail, and bangs swept to the side. It's hard to see the colors in the photograph but the t-shirt is neon yellow, Little Mrs. Wright is neon orange, her hair is brown like my daughters, her smile is neon pink, and last but not least her hair bow is neon blue. I was disappointed that my Cricut would not cut out the freckles, I guess they were too small. I searched online for a font that looked similar to the Little Miss font, this was as close a match as I could find. I really wanted to make this shirt for her. I had the idea for this shirt probably over a year ago. I could visualize how I wanted it to look and this came pretty close.
I made this same t-shirt before and posted it here but it was slightly different. The first one I made was white with black lettering and a metallic red heart. (I just remembered that my daughter is wearing it in the photograph when she met him in person). For whatever reason the metallic heart did not wash well. I think the t-shirt looks much better in black with white lettering and regular red heart.
My last David Wright creation is this sweatshirt. My daughter asked me to make a sweatshirt saying, "You can't go wrong with Wright." Eventually I have to add more to the sweatshirt. I was thinking maybe a baseball on the hood, and the team logo.
I'm done making David Wright stuff, well at least until next season.
